➢ Processing time: Between 1 and 5 months

➢ Post a job ad on VideoWorkers and select from the candidates who applied or search the database directly

➢ After finding a good match, conduct the interview and make a job offer, then sign an employment contract

➢ Visit https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/long/index.html and identify the type of visa under which you can hire foreign workers

➢ Your future employee applies for a visa at the competent Japanese Diplomatic Mission 

➢ Required documents:

◦ Duly completed and signed Japan visa application form 

◦ A passport-size picture 

◦ Employment contract signed by both parties

◦ Certificate of Eligibility (COE)

◦ Letter of Guarantee 

◦ Professional resume 

◦ Company’s most recent financial statements 

◦ Tokibo Tohon (Certificate of Registration)

◦ Company Withholding Tax Report 

◦ Any professional certificates, licenses, or diplomas proving the applicant is qualified for the position 

◦ Documents proving previous work experience 

➢ Application fee: ¥3,000 for a single-entry visa and  ¥6,000 for a multiple-entry visa 

➢ Processing time: Between 5 and 10 working days
