◦  Application form completed and signed

◦ Copy of passport

◦ Certificate of foreign vocational qualification (certified copy)

◦ Documentation indicating relevant occupational experience

◦ Other documents (e.g. further training certificates)

◦ Intention to pursue employment

➢ Application fee: Between € 100 and € 600 

➢ Processing time: 3-4 months

➢ Get the approval from the German Federal Employment Agency (BA) through ZAV

➢ Required documents: 

◦ Declaration of Employment form

◦ Employment contract

◦ Professional and educational qualifications

◦ Job description

◦ Professional resume

➢ Application fee: €  400 

➢ Processing time: Up to 6 weeks

➢ Your future employee must apply for a work visa at the competent Diplomatic Mission 

➢ Required documents:

◦ Germany national visa application form 

◦ Valid passport with a minimum validity of three months beyond the intended duration of the visa

◦ At least two recently taken photographs (35 mm X 45 mm)

◦ Suitable German health insurance

◦ Employer’s declaration (Erklärung zum Beschäftigungsverhältnis

◦ Original employment contract

◦ University degree, professional certificates, occupation practice permit, or other relevant certificates

◦ Professional curriculum vitae

◦ Proof of a clean criminal record

◦ Proof of accommodation

➢ Processing time: Up to 6 weeks 

➢ After entering Germany, your employee must convert the work visa into a temporary residence permit
