➢ If your company needs an LMIA to hire foreign workers in Canada, you can file an application through the LMIA Online Portal

◦ Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) documents

◦ Documents proving that the position has been advertised on the Government of Canada’s Job Bank and two additional sources

➢ Application fee: $1,000 per worker

➢ Processing time: Varies depending on the specific job role

➢ Post a job ad on VideoWorkers and select from the candidates who applied or search the database directly

➢ If your company needs an LMIA, you must make an offer of employment after receiving a positive answer on your application

➢ If you are eligible for hiring without an LMIA, you can submit an offer of employment directly through the Employer Portal

➢ Your future employee must apply for a work permit by creating an IRCC account
