➢ Sign an employment contract with your future employee 

➢ Use the online Qiwa platform to get approval for the work contract from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and the Chamber of Commerce

➢ Apply for a block visa approval at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)

➢ Upon approval of the block visa, the MOFA will issue an electronic power of attorney (Tawfeed)

➢ You must use the power of attorney to link your prospective employee(s) with the block visa for which you have obtained authorization

➢ Your future employee applies for a Saudi Arabia work visa at the competent Saudi Embassy 

➢ Required documents: 

◦ Original passport valid for at least 6 months with at least two blank pages 

◦ At least two passport-size photographs

◦ Online visa application form 

◦ Power of attorney from the MOFA

◦ Visa authorization number 

◦ Copy of block visa

◦ Employment contract  

◦ Letter of sponsorship from the employer 

◦ Copy of university degree or diploma (in some cases, the copy needs to be authenticated by the competent Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission)

◦ Certified and notarized copies of professional diplomas  

◦ Medical report issued by a licensed physician stating that the applicant does not suffer from any contagious diseases (not older than 3 months)

◦ Proof of clean criminal record 

➢ Application fee: SAR 1,000

➢ Processing time: 1-3 weeks

➢ You have 90 days to apply for an Iqama visa after your worker enters Saudi Arabia

➢ You can submit the application online through the Absher platform

➢ Application fee: SAR 650
